I'm up, I have three quarters of a cup of coffee in me, and I've had some toast and Cheez Whiz for breakfast.
There are vibrations and brrrrrrrrtttttt! sounds coming from downstairs. The owners are doing some work on apartment #29. The subtle trembling of the building and the noises are freaking Mina out, and frankly it's not doing much for my nerves either.
Listening to Headline News again. Second verse, same as the first. I much prefer Canadian media for solid information, but American news is SO much more entertaining.
Feeling a little bit withdrawn today. I'm not sure why. Hopefully it's not the forerunner of depression. So if I'm not commenting on other people's posts as much as I usually do -- it's not you, and I'll try to catch up tomorrow.
Random piece of information: Yesterday I was listening to a show on National Geographic Channel about the intelligence of pigs, and they reported on a pot-bellied pig who was trained use his nose to push a golf ball across the floor to a tiny golf green and into a hole cut in the green plastic. However, getting the ball up onto the slightly raised surface was tricky, so the pig, figuring out that the point was the get the hole around the ball, would push the ball up next to the little green and then pick the green up and put it down over the ball. Ta-dah! We have a winnah!
Time to do a bit of Internet surfing, then back to work. Later there will be a links post. Stay tuned for the details of how to make a kitty litter cake. Yes, you read that right.
