Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

In January I donated bone marrow to [livejournal.com profile] silverjackal in a life-saving procedure (300 points). Last Wednesday I ate my brussel sprouts (1 points). Last Tuesday I gave [livejournal.com profile] tallblue a kidney (1000 points). In March I didn't flush (-1 points). Last Monday I put gum in [livejournal.com profile] la_dame_du_lac's hair (-12 points).

Overall, I've been nice (1288 points). For Christmas I deserve a Nintendo Wii!

Sincerely,
crowdog66

When you see this, post an excerpt from as many random works-in-progress as you can find lying around. Who knows? Maybe inspiration will burst forth and do something, um, inspiration-y.

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now (even if we don't speak often or ever) please post a comment with a completely made up, fictional memory of you and me.

It can be anything you want - good or bad - but it has to be fake.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph in your LJ and see what your friends come up with.

Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] elaryn...

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want -- good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

I was actually up at 9 am this morning. Go me!

And now, a meme courtesy of "tribal_tiger" over on IJ.

1. Reply to this post, and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon squee. Whoo!

Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, thoughts on lima beans, favourite type of underwear, graphic techniques, etc.

Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] elaryn... a collage based on the interests in my profile.

My Interests Collage! )

Well, that was mildly amusing...

Since [livejournal.com profile] eastpath has posted her Johari results, I thought I'd post mine as well, with thanks to everyone who took part.

You can find the page with the funky four-part graph and percentage breakdowns here:

http://kevan.org/johari?view=crowdog66

The results:

morgaine_inanna thinks: complex, intelligent, organised, tense, dependable, sensible.
LoneSeaBreakers thinks: accepting, caring, kind, friendly, intelligent.
Anonymous thinks: caring, intelligent, kind, modest, sympathetic, trustworthy.
eastpath thinks: brave, dependable, intelligent, wise, caring, trustworthy.
elaryn thinks: brave, clever, loving, religious, trustworthy, wise.
y2jdingo thinks: adaptable, introverted, giving, mature, searching, wise.
Lenora_Rose thinks: introverted, intelligent, caring, reflective, giving, knowledgeable.
Northlight Conure thinks: intelligent, mature, clever, logical, wise, dignified.
andrea thinks: knowledgeable, logical, intelligent, sympathetic, mature, caring.

Thank you, all. This provides me with good ammunition against depression on days when I feel like a dirty smear on the sidewalk of life. :-)

Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] silverjackal...

The first question in this case was, "which bookshelf?"... I settled for going to the main one in the living room and plucking the books from that.

Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] dark_puck, because I'd rather be doing anything than painting MM.

So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...

Man, that is one WEIRD film... )

In other news, I just ate half a Mars bar. The sugar rush is incredible.
