You've been her faithful companion and helped her through all this, no matter the cost to yourself. You made sure you were there today so that when she did open her eyes, just for a second, you and she could say that you loved each other. You have accepted her fate and are doing everything in your power to make her passing as easy and painless as possible. No mother could ask for more from her daughter.
