Isn't it pretty?

I picked it up yesterday at Radiance Books & Treasures, which just received a new shipment of Wiccan equipment and jewellery. It's 7/8" in diameter and singularly appropriate, since my craft name is Crow, which is closely related to the raven depicted in the piece.

As for today... just got back from an 8-block walk and a trip to the grocery store: eggs, pumpernickel bread, veggies, Gala apples, cheese, a couple of eye of round steaks, and an Eat-More bar for George. I'm very proud of myself for learning to overcome temptations (in spite of overindulging in lemon poppyseed cake with home-made lemon curd at last night's ritual feast), and even the delicious smells coming out of the local Chinese take-out joint when I walked past the open door on my way home prompted no more than a slight wistful pang. Perhaps it's the Ritalin, which is known to suppress appetite...

Saw [livejournal.com profile] eastpath at Starbucks this afternoon also. She complimented me on my new glasses. ^_^

All in all, not a bad day so far.

A very nice piece ... is it pewter or silver? And is it a necklace?

I myself wear a small gold Celtic "eternal knot" necklace every day.

It is indeed a sterling silver necklace. And Celtic knotwork totally rocks. :-)

I **LOVE** the pentacle, crow-joe! I wish they had one with a wren or similar passerine bird on it. I could wish for a parrot, but damn. Not many pentacles out there like that :-( .

Despite this, awsome pendent! woooot!
