Just got back from Winnipeg's 20th annual Gay Pride march, and... wow. Hundreds of people, perfect weather for marching, and our great "Queer Pagan Pride" banner to walk behind. Many pictures were taken and a shot of our group might just show up in the "Picture This" section of the website linked above. In any case,
cockatiel_art got some pics with her digital camera, which she'll send me as soon as her broken modem gets fixed.
Last night's Full Moon ritual went very well. We made it out to the park, and set up a lovely altar on the grass in a small grove of trees. Unfortunately I had a nasty experience with flash paper which just proves that even after years of handling the stuff, all it takes is one careless moment. I came away with burns and blisters on my left hand which might be serious enough to require a visit to a walk-in clinic in the next couple of days. It's not hurting too badly today, but last night (especially immediately after it happened) the pain was sharp, deep, and tremendous.
Note to self: don't get too cocky.
