A few minutes ago, George almost fell on Mina. She kept getting under his feet and he kept trying to step around her, and he lost his balance. CRASH! Fortunately he rolled as he fell and ended up landing hip-first on the wheel of my studio chair (OUCHouchouchouchouch!) instead of on Mina (which would have been a bit difficult to explain at the emergency vet clinic).

So he's sore as hell. Mina, aside from being a bit scared, is fine.

Stupid cat... I'm just glad she's all right. George is bruised, but he'll live. If anyone knows any tricks for training cats to NOT be constantly underfoot (as Mina is), I'd appreciate the pointers.

I'm pleased that George and Mina are both okay. Alas, I know of no tricks to keep cats from getting underfoot. Indeed, it seems as if they try to be underfoot as much as possible.

Oh, if you get any good pointers please send them my way as well. Alchemy is ALWAYS underfoot and has been stepped on quite a few times in his short 1 year of life. You would think he'd learn - but he keeps wiggling between the legs of every one in the family! Geesh!
