You might remember Craig Hamilton, whose immensely gay Elric art graced this journal back in late May.

If you don't remember, here's the piece in all its neon homoerotic glory. )

Well, I just came across another piece of his. Behold -- a companion to the gayest Elric ever... the gayest Conan ever!

I feel pretty, oh so pretty... )

Again, technically well done, but oh so wrong in capturing the spirit of the character.

Or rather, the unlaid plans...

I lay down at 7 pm intending to have a nap, but instead got up, put my shoes on, and went out with George for a little walk around the neighborhood. It's a beautiful early summer evening and we ended up walking a couple of blocks up to Corydon and Lilac, intending to go to the Food Fare. We ended up getting sidetracked into Gluttons, a little shop that specializes in gourmet food, where we bought 600 g of Mona Lisa gouda cheese ($22). Then it was off to Food Fare for groceries ($20), and finally to Sugar Mountain where we picked up some spearmint leaves for George and sugar-free orange candies for me ($12).

I'm nibbling on some of the gouda right now -- oh, so smoky and delicious. It goes surprisingly well with Coca Cola Zero.

In his web surfing today, George came across a piece of art that has to be the gayest Elric piece I've ever seen. It's supposed to be of Elric and Arioch, but it looks more like something from Tom of Finland. Behold, the mastery of Craig Hamilton, in all his pencil crayon glory!

That's not just gay, that's *deep breath* GAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!! )

I mean yes, technically it's very proficient... but somehow I never pictured Elric of Melniboné with pointy, pouty nipples.
